随着中国美本申请者的大量增长,难度可谓是越来越大,进入名校的门槛一升再升,于此同时越来越多的童鞋开始考虑通过转学来避开美本直升的鸭梨,将目光投向了Transfer这条捷径来进入名校,下面小编讲给大家带来美本Transfer的难度分析,以及托福,SAT,大学GPA,申请截止日期等一系列注意事项。

转学难度分析
什么学校欢迎transfer?
先上各位小伙伴最为关心的难度趋势分析部分!
这里分析的难度主要是美本转美本,加拿大转美本应该难度也不会偏差很多,但是其他国家,还有中国大陆就不好说了。
首先TOP10部分基本别想了,由于TOP10转走的人很少,给转学生的名额少的可怜,除了宾大,还有哥大转学率勉强能看,其余的学校低的可怜,小编猜那可怜的录取率也就是TOP10以内学生互转刷出来的。
TOP20档次部分慷慨,部分私立校,康奈尔,莱斯 , 圣母 , 圣路易斯,乔治城(饺子城),还有可爱的Vandy,其他也是灰常的难!
TOP20 开后的档次是开始大面积慷慨了!最典型的UVA,UMich本科直录难到爆炸,UMich傲娇的不行疯狂defer,喜欢学生在其他学校被调教的好好的再转进来,比本科直录简单的不行!还有各个私立校比如USC等等,排名再往后的学校也是非常有鳝意(露出了老母猪般的微笑)
由此可见,部分TOP10-20档,对于transfer学生冲刺是概率可观的,TOP20-30也是大面积送温暖!

理性看待
高转学录取率的背后大家一定要理性看待,虽说对于大部分非顶尖学霸上的学校,转学确实容易将你送进名校,但是每个学校给出的转学录取率我们要充分考虑到:
1.本地的Community College 和 大U/LAC有啥PY交易,挤了多少名额,最典型的UC全家桶,私立校比如Cornell,Rice貌似也有,给了Community College不少名额。
2.学校是不是青睐于本州学生,本土学生。国际学生有木有明显的区别待遇。
3.不少学校对于转学生的专业有限制,强势专业不给你转或者只限制大一大二转,某种程度上拉高了录取率。

转学注意事项
转学我们还要考虑的有:
1.春秋季入学,比如春季入校虽说申请的人少,竞争可能更小点,但是学校放名额不多,部分课程秋季才能上。
2.转学申请时间和本科直申是有区别的。
3.学校对于转学时间限制,比如说只开放给Freshman,Junior等。
4.学校对转学专业的限制,比如Purdue等,部分专业其他学校想转进来没戏。5.标化成绩衡量侧重点变更。

SAT/托福/GPA
目前学校对于SAT的要求主要有以下几种情况:1.修满了一定学分/读满一定时间可以免去SAT。2.要求一定要SAT。3.其他各种疑难杂症情况。
托福也是分情况的:1.大学上过英语课,写作课的成绩/学满一定时间可以抵消托福。2.要求托福成绩(其他证明英语水平的成绩)。3.SAT成绩抵托福。
GPA无疑是本科transfer中最重要的部分了!作为硬性条件本科transfer GPA大多情况下成为了首要的衡量要速,对于大二/大三进入新学校就读的童鞋来说,大一漂亮的GPA无疑能在衡量你的学术水平上比SAT来的更重要的多,在托福过线的情况下刷高GPA对于像冲刺梦校的同学来说是必要条件。
