最近，一款名为“中国式家长”的游戏悄然流行起来。
该游戏还曾登上Steam游戏发行平台热销榜的第二名，一度超越了吃鸡、GTA5等国外热门游戏。
这款高考模拟游戏于9月29日发售，根据SteamSpy网站发布的数据，“中国式家长”的Steam累计下载量已突破50万，并得到88%的好评。而在腾讯Wegame平台，“中国式家长”收到了超过31万人的关注，推荐率超过91%。

是什么样的游戏如此受中国玩家喜爱呢？据Sixth Tone报道：
Developed by Beijing-based studio Moyuwan, the game gives players the chance to have virtual baby boys, raise them to adulthood, and see that they find good careers and partners.
北京墨鱼玩工作室开发的这款游戏，可以让玩家在游戏中养育虚拟孩子，把他们抚养长大，看着他们找到好工作，寻得好伴侣。
在游戏中，玩家可以一点一点陪着孩子长大，送他去参加高考。
In Chinese Parents, players can guide their virtual kids from being a toddler all the way up to the national college entrance exam – known as gaokao and the most important educational test in many Chinese people’s lives.
在“中国式家长”中，玩家引导着虚拟孩子从婴儿一路长成参加高考的少年，而高考是许多中国人人生中最重要的教育考试。

Throughout the 48 rounds of the game, players have to improve their kid’s attributes, such as intelligence and physical fitness, by arranging school and recreational activities.

据《南华早报》报道，游戏里还设置了红包、早恋等经典桥段：
Other aspects of the game capture familiar elements of Chinese culture. For example, refusing red envelopes during Lunar New Year before eventually pretending to reluctantly accept the gifts, and kids forced to call off budding teen romances when their mother spots the signs.
游戏还添加了中国文化的一些熟悉元素，比如，春节的时候，要先拒绝红包，最后装作不情愿地收下；妈妈在发现孩子有早恋苗头后禁止孩子谈恋爱。
不少玩家在游戏中找到了当年的自己，童年、学习等一幕幕场景涌上心头。
也有玩家表示，玩了这个游戏后，“我变成了自己最讨厌的人”。
对于游戏能在网络上引起如此多的共鸣，墨鱼玩工作室这样回应：
“We hope that everyone treats their parents with an understanding and tolerant mind,” wrote Moyuwan. “We hope kids and parents can understand each other through playing the game.”
“我们希望每个人都能以理解和宽容的心对待父母。”墨鱼玩工作室写道，“我们希望这款游戏能让孩子和父母之间增进理解。”
人民日报评论发文称：
一个游戏让人看到父母之不易，也看到教育之不易。
品尝教育子女的酸甜苦辣，对父母有更多换位思考的体谅感恩，为自己的未来和子女教育多几分准备，是这个游戏更加绵延的社会价值。
